September 30, 2025 – BSTU Rector Ihar Voitau and President of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Rifkat Minnikhanov had a meeting on the sidelines of II Internal Forum on Unmanned Vehicles UAV-2025. The two leaders discussed science and technology cooperation, implementation of ambitious high tech projects and training of high-end professionals for knowledge-intensive sectors of economy.

The parties focused on three strategic initiatives:

1. Development of unmanned aviation. The parties agreed to join their efforts towards creation of new unmanned aerial vehicles, their testing and introduction into various sectors of economy such as agriculture, cartography, infrastructure monitoring, etc.
2. Cooperation under the umbrella of the Union State Network University of High Technology. BSTU and Tatarstan Academy of Sciences will work together to promote integration of educational and research capacities of Russia and Belarus.? ?????
3. Implementation of joint research programmes. The parties plane to set up join research teams, organize joint conferences and foster academic mobility of students, academic staff and researchers.? ?????

The productive dialogue culminated in signing of a framework Cooperation Agreement laying down the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership.
