Cultural Dialogue: BSTU Celebrates Creativity of International Students

February 18, 2026 – Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU) has launched a vibrant art exhibition in honour of International Mother Language Day. Organized by the Department of General Subjects and Sciences, the gallery showcases the diverse heritage of the university’s international preparatory students through the lens of visual art.

First proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 and observed globally every February 21, International Mother Language Day celebrates linguistic diversity and multilingualism. The BSTU exhibition embraces this mission by transforming the university’s hallway into a hub for cross-cultural dialogue.

The collection features a series of vivid, colorful works where students portray unique traditions, iconic landmarks, and cultural identities of their homelands. More than just an art display, the event has become a meeting point for students from various nations, fostering mutual understanding and a shared appreciation for global diversity.
