On August 25, a delegation from Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) visited BSTU. The delegation was represented by Anvar Shernaev, Vice-rector for Work with Enterprises and Educational Institutions, Laylo Razakova, Deputy Head of Department of Double-Degree Programs Run in Cooperation with Foreign Educational Institutions and Mukhammadjon Samadkulov, Head of Department of General Studies of TICT Affiliation in Yangiyer.

The parties had a round table discussion about the progress of double-degree programs which are jointly run by BSTU and TCIT. It was agreed that TCIT Affiliation in Yangiyer would establish collaboration with BSTU which would be promoted through the following activities:
- double-degree bachelor (2+2, 3+2) and master (1+1) programs in areas such as production of electronic materials and devices, 3D technology for product manufacturing, automation of technological processes and production, industrial processing machines and equipment, economics and management, machines, aggregates and processes;
- professional development courses and internships of teaching staff of TCIT Affiliation in Yangiyer;
- joint research projects in areas of mutual interest.?
